Nobody Got High On The First U.S. Constitution – – –

I mean the first drafts of the United States Constitution was written on hemp paper. There was a good reason for this. At the time this happened, fully 75 percent of all the papers available in The United States were made from a fiber derived from cannabis. (Pot) (Marijuana).

Constitution, 4Th Of July, July 4Th, Independence

This might have something to do with the reason that America is so hot on legalizing marijuana these days but I doubt it because if the founders had decided to shred their first drafts of the Constitution and smoke it in their pipes, they would soon discover that they could not really get all that high from the experience. You see, it requires a chemical substance known in the trade as “THC” to create the euphoric high from “Weed” and the THC is only contained in the flowers of the hemp plant and the hemp papers are not made from the flowers but from the stems.

The final draft of the Constitution was, of course, written on “Parchment” paper.
