There was a man who loved to ride his bicycle along a paved path beside a scenic river.
One day as the man was riding his bicycle along the scenic path, a bird landed on his handlebars and started pecking the man, first on the right hand and then on the left.
“This bird wants to dictate to me the direction that I am to ride my bicycle!” the man surmised.
So the man decided to share the bicycle with the bird and the two rode along happily for an hour or so.
Eventually the bird got tired of playing with the man on the bicycle and set up an ear-piercing screech!
In no time at all, a much larger bird, answering the call of the smaller bird, swooped down and grabbed the man off the bicycle and flew off into the sky with him.
Other people who visited the bike path later were awe stricken and amazed when they saw a little blue bird actually riding a bicycle on the bike path.
Nobody ever heard from the man again.
One spectator to the actions of the little bird was heard to yell out at the little creature, “If you are going to ride that bike, you had better get a helmet and wear it!”
The little bird gave the spectator the finger and rode off into the sunset.
